It is possible that in the past you used the old login solution of Meine SWM, which no longer exists. Meine SWM has switched to the M-Login. So if you do not have an M-Login account yet, please proceed as follows: 
Click on the link https://meine.swm.de to go to Meine SWM and click on the blue M-Login button to easily register for M-Login. After entering your data in M-Login, you will be redirected back to Meine SWM. In Meine SWM, now link your account with your contract account number (Vertragskontonummer in german) and your meter number (Zählernummer in german). Now you can use all functions such as entering your meter reading.
